At college, this person’s friends had to catch and then dissect some mice for their class. With more mice caught than needed for the class, one lucky mouse was revived, given some water and love, before being set free.
The college students brought the mouse out to a grassy area and released him. Not 30 seconds later, a bird swooped down and took that mouse for an easy dinner thanks to the students trying to do a nice thing.
