The show’s producers brought on new kid Ricky Stevens to spice things up on the show. Ratings dipped going into the fourth season and they tried to heat the drama up. Ricky is a precocious kid interested in music industry while his family is not such a fan.
In fact, they call the police to report the Partridge’s too-loud rehearsal time. His family just moved to the neighborhood and create trouble but Ricky sneaks off to listen to the family’s beautiful tunes.
