Susan Dey’s rise to fame was marred with personal ailments. After her early success she developed an eating disorder that she struggled to overcome. She has since documented her illness and her road to recovery.
In 1986 she starred in L.A. Law and won a Golden Globe for her role as the tough as nails Grace Van Owen. She left Hollywood in 2004 and has maintained a low-key profile outside of the flashing lights and movie sets.
