The lovable Dave Madden began his career as a comedian and he performed at open mic nights and comedy festivals beginning in the ’60s. After The Partridge Family he appeared in a number of successful shows including Starsky & Hutch, The Love Boat, Married with Children, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
He was a well-respected actor in Hollywood and remained friends with many of his co-stars until his passing in 2014. After leaving Hollywood in 2008 he wrote a memoir called Reuben on Wry: The Memoirs of Dave Madden.
