In the episode Where Do Mermaids Go, Meredith Baxter plays a free-loving and easygoing hippie named Jenny. She comes from a family of enormous wealth but rejects her affluent upbringing.
Instead she decides to rebel by skinny dipping in a pond near the Partridge family’s house. The awkward moment leads to regret for Jenny and as a thank you for the Partridge’s hospitality, she deposits one million dollars into their bank account as a thank you. She takes off and we don’t hear from Jenny again.
