As we said, the music that was created for the show and released to audiences in records and albums, was incredibly successful. The song, I Think I Love You, that was released in the 1970 album, The Partridge Family Album, shot up the Billboard charts at an unprecedented rate.
To the point that it was in the number one spot, and outsold the Beatles’ single, Let It Be. Considering the level of fame the Beatles had, we were absolutely shocked to learn that a single based in a musical sitcom could outsell the legendary band.
