Kristen had known she wanted to be a nurse since she was a teenager, but before that had always dreamed of being a doctor. It wasn’t until she saw the birth of her niece that she knew she wanted to be a delivery and labor nurse.
However, that all changed again at college when Kristin fell in love with working in emergencies, and changed her major to suit her new passion. Kristin has been working as a cardiac intensive care unit nurse ever since, and says she wouldn’t change it for a moment.
