When he was just 12 years old, Usher’s mother was adamant he was going to be a star. So entered him into several local singing competitions before he caught the eye of an agent from LaFace Records. His first album was released in 1994, but it wasn’t until the late 1990s when he would reach the dizzying heights of fame.
Usher has since sold over 75 million records around the world, but he’s not just known for his music. He’s also introduced us to plenty of other stars through his own record label, including Justin Bieber.
