So where exactly will Prince Harry be going without his family? He’s been announced to be visiting the African nations of Malawi and Angola, while somewhere in between will be sandwiched a “short, private working trip” to the country of Botswana.
Contrasting with their joint visit to South Africa, which will likely include official engagements alongside private family moments, Harry won’t be taking in the sights in Botswana, a country he knows very well. Quite the opposite, in fact, as he’ll be there for one specific thing – the annual general meeting of Rhino Conservation Botswana, a nonprofit protecting Botswana’s wild rhino population. The Prince is a patron of the charity, and has participated in its field operations on multiple occasions.
