While Meghan might be returning to work – and the public eye – a little earlier, the royal couple has officially announced on social media they’ll be taking a trip to southern Africa in the fall of 2019. The tour’s exact timetable has not yet been released, but experts assume it will take place sometime in October, when Archie is about five months old. Hang on – does that mean he’s coming too? The official announcement stated that the British Government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office put in a request for the royals to visit South Africa, but specifically mentioned that Harry will then be continuing solo to three more African countries. So just why aren’t Meghan and Archie joining him?
