It would actually have made sense to bring at least Meghan along to Harry’s short stop in Botswana. After all, the country holds an incredible amount of significance for them both, as it served as backdrop for some of their most important moments together.
Harry actually took Meghan there on their third date, if you can believe that, and they returned to it for Meghan’s 36th birthday. Going to Africa might seem an odd choice for a third date, but it allowed the two to spend time in seclusion, away from the lens of paparazzi.
