Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6, 2019. Despite being just shy of two months, Archie is already one of the most famous and talked-about infants in the entire world. The little guy can’t even hold his head up, and already he’s a global celebrity with millions of fans. But that just comes with the territory when your parents are Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, quite possibly the most beloved members of the Royal Family.
Of course, we shouldn’t overlook the fact that Archie just so happens to also be seventh in line to the throne. While he probably won’t ever sit on it, it still means that anything involving the youngest royal makes headlines worldwide. That’s proven to precisely be the case when the Palace officially announced that Meghan and Harry will be taking their first overseas tour “as a family” in the fall – except Harry won’t be doing part of it with his wife and son.

Ever since giving birth to Archie in May, Meghan has been on maternity leave. Other than a short, staged photo-op with Prince Harry and the newborn, she hasn’t been seen in public until the Trooping the Colour event more than a month later.
However, prior to giving birth, palace insiders said she only wanted to take three months off. Be that as it may, it appears Meghan’s planning to come back from her leave with a bang, by taking a tour of southern Africa with Prince Harry and baby Archie.
