Every struggling actor remembers the day he took a job just to pay their bills. Patrick did just that when he accepted the role of a Russian general in the 1985 film Wild Geese II. Patrick took the role so he would get paid and would be able to afford to fix a leaky window in his house. The role he accepted was the first to come along. To this day he is embarrassed that he took it.
