While Nottingham Cottage had been Harry and Meghan’s home since the two tied the knot, it wouldn’t be for much longer. Reports soon started spreading the news that work was being carried out on Apartment 1 on the Kensington Palace estate, and so it did for much of 2018.
This was apparently to get it ready for Harry and Meghan to move into so that they’d have more space to raise their family. According to the Daily Mail, this work was completed in early October 2018.
