One of the reasons that Don has distanced himself from the spotlight in recent years is because he’s sobered up. Before Kelly, the man loved to party, and that led to issues with certain substances.
The actor had to fight hard to give up his dependence on various illegal substances, but the effort was well worth it. He got clean, married Phleger, and now appears to be in a very successful marriage. Despite the many ups and downs he had in his old life, he’s happy that’s all in the past.
