Sam Elliott co-starred opposite pop music superstar Lady Gaga in Bradley Cooper’s directorial debut in the remake of A Star is Born. He played Gaga’s ingénue character’s manager in the musical drama.
Cooper came to Elliott with the role fleshed out for him and insisted he take on the challenge. Elliott has publicly expressed his appreciation for Cooper as a new director and Lady Gaga’s performance in the role that got everyone talking.
