At 73 years old, Elliott has no interest in joining the tech world. He doesn’t have an e-mail and is off social media completely. “Everywhere you look, people are looking at their hands,” he told AARP.
“In restaurants, it’s like you’re sitting in a patch of jack-o’-lanterns because everyone’s face is lit up by their phone. Nobody’s relating to each other.” Unfortunately for fans, this means that the only place to see Elliott is in the theaters, or in the case of this lucky lady, outside of Starbucks.
