Elliott married fellow actress Katharine Ross 33 years ago, and unlike many of their contemporaries, the couple remains just as united today. Ross is famous for her iconic roles as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate and Joanna Eberhart in The Stepford Wives.
She also starred in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, but as Elliott only had a minor part in it, they didn’t meet. “I didn’t dare try to talk to her then,” said Elliot. “She was the leading lady. I was a shadow on the wall.”
