The Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan stadium cost a staggering $56 million to build in the ’70s, and unfortunately this drone picture from 2015 shows its glory days are long gone.
It hasn’t hosted any events since 2001, but but before then hosted among other things a Super Bowl, an NBA final, and even a visit by the Pope! But in 2002 the Detroit Lions moved to another stadium, and this one was left to slowly fall apart.
