She was married to Richard Burton, a Welsh actor, from 1975 to 1976 (extra fact: this was their second marriage, they were married before between 1964 and 1974).
The couple led a very luxurious lifestyle while they were together, and shared two children together whom they adopted. Elizabeth had said about her then-husband, “after Richard, the men in my life were just there to hold the coat, to open the door. All the men after Richard were really just company.”
