Sam Jackson is known for many amazing film roles, but his early life might actually make a movie that rivals any of his professional output! Raised by his mother, he played the French horn in his school’s orchestra.
While he attended Atlanta’s Morehouse College, he and some others took some members of the college’s board of trustees hostage, demanding school reform. It was during his days there, in 1974, that he met Spelman College student LaTanya Richardson. The two married in 1980 and are still together.
