Blade Runner is now considered one of the best sci-fi movies of all times, but it did not get a warm welcome upon its release – and had such tense on-set relationships, it was even the subject of a documentary titled Dangerous Days.
Majority of the drama happened because director Ridley Scott did not get along with his American crew. They hardly harbored warm feelings for him either, and the last scenes were filmed just as producers arrived to shut down production due to all the on-set clashes.
