Producing animated movies can be just as complex and difficult as producing live-action ones, The Emperor’s New Groove from 2000 is yet another example of that.
Sting had initially agreed to produce the soundtrack for the movie originally titled Kingdom Of The Sun. But due to all kinds of disagreements, Sting was dropped and so was the director (and title). Mark Dindal then stepped in, made some order in the production chaos, and created a film that did amazingly at the box office.
