One of the worst things about cracking eggs is the propensity of eggshell fragments to escape and end up with the egg contents. You look down after cracking an egg, only to see a tiny shell demon – one that mocks you as you try in vain to scoop it out. However, an easy way to remove these shell fragments is to actually use the eggshell itself. The thin, jagged edge of the shell is able to move through slippery egg white with ease – making scooping out shell pieces a breeze.
