Luckily for this guy, Lex is a pretty chill girl and could quickly laugh at the whole thing as soon as they were reunited. The pair thanked the police officers and happily went on with their trip – and ended up having the most amazing time.
They enjoyed beautiful scenery along the highway, explored beaches around the Baja Peninsula, went diving and hiking, and even met some cool locals. All in all it unexpectedly turned out to be a perfect trip, despite the dramatic first part.
