Before Adrienne Barbeau became the “scream queen” of the 1980s, she was a broadway star and tv actress in the 70s. She first gained critical success (and a Tony Award nomination) on broadway in Grease. 
She became a familiar name in the mainstream circuit after starring in Maude, alongside Bea Arthur.

She has been married to Billy Van Zandt since 1992 and they have twin boys together, as well as another son from Adrienne’s first marriage.
