So what exactly happened? Who was his long-lost son revealed to be? Well, after the rumor had been flying about for decades, the divorce court proceedings demanded that Maradona take part in a paternity test to prove or disprove the allegation.
Unsurprisingly enough, the test came back positive, and his son was soon revealed to be fellow Italian footballer Diego Singara. The two of them eventually met a year later to embark on a father-son relationship.
