Everyone was sad to say goodbye as Rowan’s grandmother knew that it would be a while until she saw him again. Being in the military is very unpredictable as you are never really certain how long you will be deployed for. This made Rowan’s visit even more special for everyone and they spent as much time together as possible. While everyone was so happy Rowan was home, he and his father promised that they would not give the family such a surprise again.
