After Molly got cut, her career really took off (so it’s essentially a good thing producers didn’t want her on The Facts of Life anymore!). Molly went on to star in 80s teen hits, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink – without Molly, those movies would have been a totally different game.
Ringwald is still a very busy actress, both on television and film. Most recently she has been in the film Bad Night and King Cobra, and appeared on shows like, Raising Expectations, and Riverdale.
