As producers were still not quite ready to let go, there was another spinoff idea they were thinking of. In fact, the two very last episodes of The Facts of Life were a setup for yet another spinoff idea.
Producers brought in actors Mayim Bialik, Seth Green, and Juliette Lewis to guest star in both episodes as new Eastland student, continuing the tradition of the school so to speak. Luckily, again, this spinoff also didn’t end up happening. We are all for the leaving well enough alone methodology.
