With so many sitcoms out and about in the world of television, you really have to make your mark to stand out from the crowd. You have to shock viewers, and you have to give them something they won’t be able to see elsewhere.
In recent years, Modern Family has just become a bit too predictable. We now know the characters so well that we can instinctively know their next move before they have even done it. This can be endearing, but this can also take all of the fun out of the show.
