Jimmy Dean met his second wife Donna while the two were on stage of the show Nashville Now produced by the Nashville Network. The two were soon married in 1991, with Donna helping Jimmy to manage his sausage empire and write his biography.
The two enjoyed married life on the Dean estate located south of Richmond, Va, attending charity events and enjoying Jimmy’s twilight years.

Following Jimmy’s death in 2010, Donna continued recording music. Her life changed however when she went to her 40th high school reunion and re-kindled an old flame with her high school sweetheart.
The two subsequently began dating, with Donna getting re-married in 2013 to Jayson Franklin Stevens who formerly worked construction. Jimmy is undoubtedly smiling down on them from above, most likely eating one of his famous sausages.
