Keith Urban is different from the rest of the musicians on this list as he is not American but a native of New Zealand. He started his musical career in Australia in 1991 before moving to the United States the following year. It was in the US that his career really took off. Urban released nine albums and has 37 of his songs reach the US Hot Country Songs list, 18 out of the 37 went to the number one spot. Urban is married to Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and has two daughters with her.
