Many a singer and entertainer had done a TV special or two in their time, and Kenny Rogers was no different. In 2010 the singer recorded a show called ‘Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years’ – a special designed to honor the impact of Rogers on the music industry, and his work to make country music popular with a mainstream audience.
As might be expected the show had some very special guests, with both Lionel Richie and Dolly Parton appearing to perform with the titan of country.
