One thing the rich and famous are well-known for was a tendency to keep exotic pets. Given the wealth and extravagance of their lives, many celebrities feel drawn to animal companions more outside-the-box than your average cat or dog.
Kenny Rogers was no exception to this rule, having a pet that presumably causes frequent double-takes among guests to his home – namely, a goat. While an unconventional choice, the goat – named Smitty – had been said by Rogers to be an excellent companion, and a soothing presence in his life.
