[post_page_title]Tron: Legacy – The Dude does not abide[/post_page_title]
The original Tron, released in 1982, was a benchmark in integrating computer-generated graphics, traditional animation, and live action. Somehow, it actually stood the test of time far better than its 2010 sequel Tron: Legacy.
To create a younger version of Jeff Bridges, who appeared in the original, earlier roles were used to create a young CGI version of him. It certainly was impressive, and worked when Bridges wasn’t doing much of anything. When he did something, though – like breathe – it all fell apart and looked disturbing, like a reanimated corpse or something.
