Are we really going to pick on a movie based on a show that literally repurposed all of its actions scene from a completely unrelated Japanese production? Yes, yes we are. Granted, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: The Movie is pretty old by now, having come out in 1995, and it didn’t have an enormous budget.
But if that’s the best $15 million dollars could buy in 1995, we really don’t know what to tell you. Kids loved the movie when it came out. We certainly wanted to. But in the climactic fight, we got a scene that would’ve been cut from Beast Wars for being too crummy.
