[post_page_title]Hoodwinked – My, what awful CGI you have, grandmother[/post_page_title]
We kinda hate to do this, because Hoodwinked was a genuinely enjoyable movie. Sure, it drew harsh – but probably fair – comparisons to Shrek, which also deconstructed fairytales. One reviewer even went so far as to dub it “Shrek with added dreck.”
But all that doesn’t matter for our purposes. What matters is that the CGI used to create the film – which we’d like to remind you came out in 2005 – looked like it was made during the Stone Age. Shrek came out four whole years earlier, but was lightyears ahead in how it looked. This is one legend we should’ve closed the book on.
