We’re not saying we’re glad Fox won’t be making any more X-Men movies, but… Scratch that, that’s exactly what we’re saying. Given free rein to adapt some of Marvel’s most popular characters to the big screen, Fox has turned in less than stellar efforts.

And 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine may be the worst of the bunch. Wolverine has his skeleton coated in unbreakable Adamantium – including his claws. For some reason we still don’t understand, Fox decided to render them in CGI. This was eye-wateringly awful even on first viewing. Is that the best a $150 million budget could buy?
