The Friends actress graduated from Vassar College with a degree in biology and performed experimental research on headaches and migraines for just over 8 years. The reason Lisa abandoned scientific research is because of Jon Lovitz. The two were acquainted through mutual friends and he convinced the funny blonde to try her hand at acting. She may have been type casted for television roles, but her big screen appearances usually portray the undercover smarty pants with more depth than we’re used to.
