Denzel Washington met his first and only love, Paulette Pearson, in 1975. The couple met on the set of Denzel’s first film, a made for tv movie project, entitled Wilma.
Pauletta and Denzel married in 1983 and in 1995, they renewed their wedding vows while on vacation in South Africa.

The married couple now have 4 children – a son, a daughter, and the youngest are a set of twins. Denzel and Pauletta are one of the longest lasting marriages in Hollywood to date, having been married for over 34 years.
