Lawrence played the role of Pippa Ross, Australia’s favorite mum. She first appeared on the show in 1990 when she replaced actress Vanessa Downing, who played the role of Pippa before.
She stayed on the show for eight years and left the show only to return a few years later for several stints.

She serves as a host of a communication skills workshop where she helps women all over the country to be better heard and noticed at their work environments.
