Quilter was cast on the show in 1994 as Donna Bishop. The part almost went to actress Kimberley Joseph who auditioned for the same role.
While she was one the show, Quilter didn’t feel she was doing what she was intended to, and that was music. Perhaps that is the reason she only stayed for nine months.

She eventually changed her phone number and that was the end of it.
