Nicolette Sheridan played the temptress character Edie Britt, a real estate agent who lived on Wisteria Lane. Throughout the show, she is responsible for many of the pivotal, strange and mysterious plot twist – particularly the murder mystery elements – not to mention numerous affairs with the husbands and ex (and current) lovers of the residents of the street. Sheridan left the show after its fifth season, but returned for the finale of season 8, to pay homage to the characters and story.
