Maiara Walsh is an actress and a singer, who started her acting career in Disney’s Cory in the House, and is also known from playing Simone Sinclair on the ABC drama Switched at Birth. Walsh was born in Seattle, but her family moved to Sao Paulo when she was 2; she returned to California to pursue an acting career at age 11. She was the female lead in Zombieland, though the pilot was not picked up. She is currently filming season 5 of TV series The Last Ship.
