She spent several nights in the emergency room with her former partner Corey Haim due to narcotics. Eggert also accused Scott Baio of intimately abusing her as a minor during the filming of Charles in Charge. Baio has denied the allegations stating that their consensual encounter only happened once, months after Eggert had turned 18.
