Cameron’s latest movie, the Descendents 3, was due to be released just a couple of weeks after his passing. The Disney Channel said it would be canceling the red carpet event for the movie and replacing it with something else.
The telecast of the new film will instead be dedicated to Cameron’s life. Disney was also going to make a contribution to the Thirst Project in Cameron’s name to help continue the good work the star was doing.
