The officers declared that they’d done it as a way to treasure David, because it symbolized a part of him that they got to see every day. Mikayla also admitted that it was the uniforms that really got to her, because of how much they reminded her of her father. Even though he wasn’t physically with her at her wedding, everything about that day helped her feel David’s presence.
