Andrew admitted that while he was also sensitive to the issue of gentrification, he failed to see what it had to do with any of this. He also would have loved to know who put up the two notes blasting Serena, and why they did it.
Regardless, they’d done their job – Serena decided to remove the rest of the flowers altogether. She later pinned another note explaining her actions, saying it was too hard to replace flowers that were constantly being removed. Instead, she “redistributed (them) to neighbours” and other nearby roads.
