Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride was one of the first rides that were built at Disneyland Park and was one of the favorite rides among the hundreds of visitors. In 1997, it was announced that the original ride will be replaced by a new and more universal one, called The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
This transition from the historic ride to the new one resulted in many protests against that move from people who wanted the original Mr. Toad’s Wild to remain open. As a tribute to the old attraction, paintings of Mr. Toad can still be found on site.
